When not to use
Zirom Tablet cannot be used to treat viral infections such as the common cold or flu. Zirom should also not be used to treat all bacterial infections as this may lead to the development of drug-resistant bacteria. It should only be used for the treatment of bacterial infections where it is effective. Zirom should not be used to treat elderly patients, patients that require hospitalization, or patients who have severe health problems such as immunodeficiency.
