Warnings: Do not take Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's or other macrolide antibiotics. Hypersensitivity reactions including shock and fatalities have been reported with Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's. Discontinue use if there is a reaction and reach out to your doctor immediately. Tell your doctor if you have liver problems (jaundice), muscle problem (myasthenia gravis), heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia), electrolyte imbalance (low potassium or magnesium level). In rare case, use of Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's can cause diarrhoea, so in case if you have watery or bloody diarrhoea, stop taking Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's and call your doctor. However, do not take any anti-diarrheal medicine until your doctor tells you. It is not known whether Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's harms the baby in pregnancy or not. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before using Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's.
Medicine Interaction: Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's may reduce the Activity of the vaccines including cholera vaccine, live, typhoid vaccine, live and Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (is used in a solution to stimulate the immune system in the treatment of bladder cancer and as a vaccine to prevent tuberculosis). To ensure adequate vaccine response, you should not receive any above-mentioned vaccine, until at least 14 days after you complete your antibiotic therapy. Cefolac Dt 50 mg Tablet 10's can occasionally cause kidney problems, and using it with furosemide may increase that risk.
