Nasiwar Cold Suspension is commonly recommended in children to treat symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat, body ache, and fever. These symptoms are usually associated with common cold, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and other respiratory tract conditions.
This medication may be taken with or without food preferably one hour before you travel. Take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. But, before taking it, inform doctor if you are suffering from depression and taking its medications.
Dizziness may occur as its side effect, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus. You should avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medication, as it may cause excessive sleepiness.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Nasiwar Cold Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine which relieve cold symptoms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
