Zimba Oral Liquid contains Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide as Active ingredients.
Zimba Oral Liquid works by blocking H1-receptor sites on tissues; affecting the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex;
Pregnancy Interaction: Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Zimba Oral Liquid may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.

Breast Feeding Interaction: Zimba Oral Liquid is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which helps reduce cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger, histamine. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by reducing the Activity of cough centre in the brain.
