Product Uses: CTD-M 6.25/25 Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medications called ‘antihypertensives’ used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It can also reduce oedema (fluid retention) in hypertensive patients. Hypertension is a condition in which there will be a persistent rise in blood pressure levels. This condition can also cause fluid retention, leading to peripheral oedema (swelling of legs and hands).

Ctd M 6.25/25mg Tablet belongs to the therapeutic classification of Cardioselective beta blockers. The primary composition for this medicine is Metoprolol 25 MG, Chlortalidone 6.25 MG.

Warnings: CTD-M 6.25/25 Tablet 10's may cause abnormalities such as electrolyte imbalances such as a decrease in potassium, sodium or chloride levels. So, it is advised to monitor electrolyte levels before initiating this therapy and also should be used with extreme caution in patients with severe liver and kidney disease. CTD-M 6.25/25 Tablet 10's may cause photosensitivity, so avoid exposure to sunlight for prolonged periods. CTD-M 6.25/25 Tablet 10's contains lactose, so inform your doctor if you have any intolerance to sugars.
Medicine Interaction: CTD-M 6.25/25 Tablet 10's may interact with antihypertensive (hydralazine, prazosin, and clonidine), medications used to treat diabetes, a medication used to treat stomach ulcer (cimetidine), a medication used to treat heart rhythm disorder (amiodarone and propafenone), antidepressants (lithium), medications used to treat epilepsy (barbiturates), anesthetic (cyclopropane), a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (alprostadil), anxiolytic (diazepam and nitrazepam), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (indomethacin and celecoxib), antibiotic (rifampicin), antifungal (terbinafine), cocaine, birth control pills, corticosteroids (hydrocortisone and prednisolone), a medication used to treat severe allergic reaction (adrenaline), and a medication used to treat severe hypotension (norepinephrine).
Side Effects: Feeling lightheaded, sleepy, having blurred eyesight, or a change in thinking clearly. Avoid driving and doing other tasks or actions that call for you to be alert or have clear eyesight until you see how this drug affects you. Feeling dizzy. Rise slowly over a few minutes when sitting or lying down. Be careful climbing. Change in sex ability. This most often goes back to normal. Feeling tired or weak. Low mood (depression). Loose stools (diarrhea). Slow heartbeat.
